Fashion, art and spykes !!!

Well, sometimes you'll just have to pick what's on the street to get some pictures. And when on a rainy Sunday afternoon, when its late, when everything is close and no one dare to get outside, you'll have to improvise! This time, what caught my eyes, was some of the well known shops (a least for some fashionista) and there front windows. Yes, these is a life behind those front windows!

 

 

Un après-midi avec Alice

Malgré ce dimanche pluvieux, j'ai enfin pu voir cette charmante personne de 10'000 tonnes. Et oui, "Alice" le magnifique collisionneur du CERN mérite le respect. Tout est dans la démesure et j'avoue que excepté quelques films ou la modélisation en 3D (comme dans les jeux vidéos), je n'avais jamais vu de mes yeux, de constructions aussi imposantes, faite par la main de l'homme.

Il est aussi surprenant de constater que pour observer l’infiniment petit il faut que l'homme construise quelque chose de géant!

Alice en l'un des collisionneurs du CERN (Atlas étant le plus grand). Il se situe à environ 100m de profondeur et n'est accessible pour le public que tout les quatre ans (autant en profiter!).

Very old airplane

In fact this one is not that old, but enough to show to us the beauty of it. Its a 1943 US military training airplane with a stuning 9 stars engine. You should hear the music :-)

A very hot sunny day

Last saturday was probably one of our last summer sunny day. I took two pictures that day that suppose to show to us the quietness of a saturday afternoon and the heat that will melt you into the ground if you remained outside!
